Operational Regulations

These are for the safety and benefit of all golf course visitors. A visitor is a golf player (including members of the GCP), their caddies, spectators, restaurant visitors and people just passing through the golf course area.

The borders are marked by white board sticks. The area includes the golf course itself, driving range, putting and chipping greens and the GCP clubhouse.

The authorized people are the Marshall, manager, professional trainer, green keeper and all members of Management and Supervisory Boards.

Operating Area

  • The course is only open to the public during the published opening hours. There are no time limits for club members. The road running through the course is open for everybody.
  • Opening hours are from 07.00 to sunset, but these are specified by the manager and can change with the season, weather and course conditions. The latest information can be found on the GCP web pages.
  • An authorized person is always present to ensure that everybody adheres to the rules. In case somebody doesn't, then such a person can be made leave or banned from playing. The authorized person can also close the area to the public to protect their health and limit damage.
  • The manager also has the right to limit the use of the area, or its surroundings, under a contract with a short time customer who uses the course, but not to the public using the road.

Visitor's Duty

  • Each visitor (this does not include people using the road and the restaurant) has to report to the reception.
  • A visitor who is not a golf player or a caddy is not allowed on the golf course except at their own risk.
  • Visitors are not allowed to pick up balls.

Player's Duty

  • Players can play at the golf course after paying the fee and after placing a fee-card visibly on their bag. If the player does not display the fee-card he can be sent off the course by the authorized person without any compensation for damages.
  • Before the game, each player must register in the main book at the reception. (for insurance purposes).
  • To use the golf course, each player must have a valid handicap card or a green card.
  • Each player has to have a tee time booked in advance. Tee time can be booked 14 days in advance.
  • Each player must be properly dressed, blue jeans, men's T-shirts without sleeves and underwear are not allowed.
  • Players should not be noisy, nor use mobiles phones with loud ringtunes, and should practice golf ethics and good behaviour. Players must adhere to the golf rules, internal regulations and operational regulations. Players also have to replace divots that they create during the game, rake bunkers, repair pitch marks on the greens and must not use trolleys in between the bunkers and the greens. It is not allowed to use the balls from the driving range anywhere else. Any person breaking these rules will be made leave immediately without compensation.
  • The time limit for 9 holes is 2 hours and 20 minutes. If the authorized person determines that a player cannot manage this time limit, then he / she can ask such a player to increase the speed of their game. If that situation is repeated, such the player will be asked to leave out 1 or more holes or even be sent off. The player will be compensated for the unplayed portion of their game.
  • A player or a group of slow players have to give way to faster players in case there are one or more holes free.
